If you're looking for short, snappy book reviews, you're on the wrong blog. Mine tend toward long and rambling. I can't help it, I just love talking about books. I was an English major - what can I say? While brevity's not my strong suit, I can promise honest, thoughtful, "tell-it-like-it-is" book assessments here at BBB.
What kind of books am I into? Well, I love me a good mystery; a nice, thick family saga; a chilling ghost story; an inspiring biography; I've even been known to rave about Twilight-esque YA novels. Yeah, I'll pretty much read anything that looks interesting.
How 'bout you? Got a good rec? I'd love to hear about it. Feel free to look around, leave me a comment, shoot me an email, but most of all, come back often. If you love books, you've found yourself a new home ... Welcome!
A Note to Authors/Publishers:
I am always interested in receiving great books to review. Before contacting me, however, please take a look at my review policies. If it all sounds good, send me an email: blogginboutbooks@gmail.com . Please note: I am not accepting ebooks at this time.
Since I have a mountain of review books, it may take me awhile to get to your book. If you prefer to schedule your review for a certain day, that can be arranged. You can see what I already have scheduled here.

My Ratings
Every book I review is given a "grade" based on my totally professional, highly subjective opinion of its literary merit and entertainment value. The deets:
A - Great book, highly recommended
B - Pretty good, slightly flawed
C - Just okay - not horrible, but not great either
D - Really, really not great
F - It sucks. Don't waste your time
