It's just after 6 a.m. on Christmas morning and I'm up with the grandbaby, who stayed the night with me because her mommy is still in the hospital. It's been a week since my daughter-in-law's open heart surgery. She's still in a lot of pain, but we're hopeful she'll be discharged today so her little family can enjoy Christmas together. We'll see what happens. In the meantime, I'm enjoying this early morning peace and quiet that's permeating my home right now. It's the perfect time to contemplate my blessings, always thanking God for what He has given me. Among these blessings, I count you, my loyal (and even occasional), blog readers.
