2023 Literary Escapes Challenge

My Progress:

2023 Build Your Library Reading Challenge

My Progress:

Ready for a Reading Challenge? Great!
Are you as addicted to reading challenges as I am? Are you looking for a central place to get all the info you need on new challenges? Great! Read on.
I love taking on new reading challenges every year. In the past, I've relied on A Novel Challenge to help me find all the information I need. Unfortunately, the blogger who ran that site has retired. She did choose a replacement, but so far the blog has not been updated. It's December, prime challenge-choosing time, and, like any addict, I'm jonesing for a fix! I'm already losing track of the 2021 challenges I've seen advertised, so I'm taking matters into my own hands and creating a central spot for reading challenge information. Huzzah!
Please check out my new venture, Ready for a Reading Challenge? It's a work-in-progress obviously, but it's already got a few challenges listed. I will keep updating it with new challenges, so check back frequently.
I will be creating a contact form this week to make the process easier, but in the meantime, please email me about any 2021 reading challenges you are hosting, participating in, or seeing pop up around the web. Suggestions for how to make this site most helpful and fun are also welcome: blogginboutbooks@gmail.com
Happy reading!

Comments make me feel special, so go crazy! Just keep it clean and civil. Feel free to speak your mind (I always do), but be aware that I will delete any offensive comments.
P.S.: Don't panic if your comment doesn't show up right away. I have to approve each one before it posts to prevent spam. It's annoying, but it works!

Fun idea, Susan! Can't wait to hop over and check out all the different reading challenges. :D
ReplyDeleteThanks! I've listed quite a few already, so you're sure to find some that appeal :)
DeleteHere's another site that has a challenge list. I'll go check yours out now!

I just discovered this site yesterday! It's a good one. I hadn't realized how many reading challenge round-up sites there are out there already since I've only really used one. Oops! Oh well, the more the merrier, right?
DeleteThat is a great idea, Susan. I always like to see what challenges are available. I am trying not to go overboard with challenges in 2021 but challenges are fun.
ReplyDeleteSame. The big problem with searching out reading challenges is that there are SO MANY I want to join! I don't want to go overboard either, but I do really enjoy reading challenges and I've done great with them this year (unlike most years).
DeleteWhat a brilliant idea! I've added the site to my Blogger reading list and look forward to going through and seeing what I fancy.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I've been working hard, so there are quite a few challenges listed at the moment. I'm sure you'll find AT LEAST one to pique your interest :)
DeleteLove it and bookmarking it! I like a good reading challenge too.
ReplyDeleteYay! Reading challenges are super fun. You talked about hosting one in 2021, didn't you? I'm going to host one (maybe two) for the first time ever this year. Why not?
DeleteThis is great Susan. I popped over and like the way you set them up. I already found one that I am going to participate in for something different. I will have to check out the rest of them.
ReplyDeleteThanks for checking out! It's going to be tough to decide which ones to do this year since there are TONS of good ones. Argh! What to choose, what to choose ...
DeleteWay to go, Susan. You are a lot more ambitious than I am these days.
ReplyDeleteIt's been a long, long time since I've been involved in a reading challenge, so I'll keep an eye on this to see what you come up with. I used to enjoy the challenges but just kind of drifted away from them.
