Thin Plot + Whiny Heroine = Ho Hum, But Hopeful YA Novel
8:44 PM
(Image from Amazon)

Although the girls don't exactly hit it off, the pair reluctantly decide to work together to fulfill the bucket list Bryon drafted prior to his death. In the process, they learn some important lessons about friendship, family, and things both fragile and fierce.

(Readalikes: Hm, I can't think of anything. Can you?)
Grade:
If this were a movie, it would be rated:
for mild sexual innuendo
To the FTC, with love: Another library fine find

Comments make me feel special, so go crazy! Just keep it clean and civil. Feel free to speak your mind (I always do), but be aware that I will delete any offensive comments.
P.S.: Don't panic if your comment doesn't show up right away. I have to approve each one before it posts to prevent spam. It's annoying, but it works!

Well, that's too bad. I wish it had a bit more going for it cause it sounds like it had potential.
ReplyDeleteI hate whiny characters, especially whiny girls. So I think I'm going to be skipping this one. :)
