Hoppin' Happy
9:08 AM
It's been a few weeks since I've participated in the Book Blogger Hop, so I'm excited about this first one of the new year. The question this time kind of stumps me, though: Ivan over at Ivan Bookworm asks what book influenced or changed your life and how? I can't really think of one specific book. What a cop-out, huh? Are you as stumped by this question as I am? What's your answer?

Comments make me feel special, so go crazy! Just keep it clean and civil. Feel free to speak your mind (I always do), but be aware that I will delete any offensive comments.
P.S.: Don't panic if your comment doesn't show up right away. I have to approve each one before it posts to prevent spam. It's annoying, but it works!

I had a hard time answering this question as well.
ReplyDeleteI was definitely stumped by this question as every book I read tends to influence me in some way.
ReplyDeleteHaha, it's okay to be stumped! Some are not as fortunate as me to have one special, epic book to use for the answer... Thanks for stopping by the blog!
ReplyDeleteJust hopping by...yes, that was a difficult question.
ReplyDeleteCome on by my hop to see how I answered:

very interesting books you have here, I just became a follower!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog today.
ReplyDeleteLooks like we have some of the same taste in books. I'm a new follower of your blog.
Enjoy your weekend!
I know what you mean! It was hard to think of something!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for following. :)
This will probably come of something as a surprise but the book that changed/influenced my life (more than any other) is a non-fiction book. I know we all focus on novels and the fanciful fiction we love to read but The Four Work Week is the book that gets all the credit. I know the title sounds fictional but it really isn’t. Hop over to my blog and find out why – http://www.howardsherman.net
ReplyDeleteHappy Book Blogger Hop Day!

Not a cop out at all! I don't have a single book to point to. Come by and see why.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog! I'm glad I'm not the only one that couldn't give an answer for this one :-).
ReplyDeleteI agree, it was certainly a difficult question; every book I read influences me in some way. I finally picked a book that I found especially powerful: Philip Caputo's A Rumor of War.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Hopping through. I don't know that any book has changed my life but some books have opened doors to new genres. Like Harry Potter and fantasy.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend!
My Hop
My answer this week was easy, didn't even have to think about it. If it weren't for Harry Potter, I wouldn't have met some of my best friends and wouldn't have found out I love to write :)

I think there are so many books that influence each person in so many ways that it's hard to decide which one had the most impact. I chose The Giver as my the book that influenced me most, but of course many others stick with me as well.
ReplyDeleteVisiting from Book Blogger Hop; thanks for visiting my blog, too (http://desabsurdites.blogspot.com/)
