I read that one a few years ago, and my husband made fun of it every time he saw the book! It really started to irk me, because if I remember correctly, the narrator didn't even have such awful grammar!Jeanehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02270303640902731044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32315311.post-22208488147925664482008-04-13T11:58:00.000-07:002008-04-13T11:58:00.000-07:00I haven't read this one, but I did purchase it for...I haven't read this one, but I did purchase it for my library. I read on somebody's blog and I can't remember who that it reminded them of the movie Sweet Land (mainly because of the German and the war thing) hich I actually had watched before I read the book. If you haven't seen it, look it up.

Kirby Larson was recently in Orem, close to where I live and I was disappointed that I was not able to get a babysitter to go down and see her. I would have enjoyed it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32315311.post-45114898287745581712008-04-09T12:31:00.000-07:002008-04-09T12:31:00.000-07:00I really enjoyed this book. I'm glad that you have been able to see the results of their labors, too.Laurelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06146380265733614676noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32315311.post-85091024522492825482008-04-09T12:03:00.000-07:002008-04-09T12:03:00.000-07:00I love this book. I'm glad you liked this book. I've seen some negative reviews, but I really liked this book.Jeanettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17311918064009586996noreply@blogger.com
